Compressed Camping Towels: An Item For Your Bug Out Bag

Compressed Camping Towels: An Item For Your Bug Out Bag

Compressed hand towels are a good thing to put into your pack.  For one, they are light and take up barely any space at all and unfold to about approximately 12″x24″.  Space and weight is always an issue when packing your bug out bag so packing these instead of full size towels will really save you a lot of room. Besides washing or drying yourself off, you can use them to cover a wound or as a tourniquet to stop bleeding.

You can find these at The Dollar Store, Canadian Tire, and many other camping or outdoor adventure stores.

I’m with you. I put these things all over the house and car and the BOB’s.

Goota agree. Just did a B.O.B. shopping trip at Dollarama and compressed towels were high on my list.
