Trail Marking Tape: An Item For Your Bug Out Bag
Trail marking tape has many uses. It’s main survival use of course is to mark a path through the woods so you can find your way back. If you’re not going to mark trails with it, you can use it to tie a survival shelter together, or even tie up an intruder or attacker (if you wrap it around them enough times). I also keep a spare roll of electrical tape and duct tape in my kit. They are strong, durable and can also be used for a wide variety of things (except marking trails) in a survival situation.

for marking trails I prefer using the reflective tacts. They are not as visable unless you know to look for them.
