GSI Outdoors: H2O Lite 1L Water Bottle and Ultralight Salt & Pepper Shaker

GSI Outdoors: H2O Lite 1L Water Bottle and Ultralight Salt & Pepper Shaker

I have to say I am very pleased with this company and the quality of their products!  A little while ago I ordered the Halulite Microdualist Cookset (which is awesome) and did a review on it.  I use it every time I go out in the woods!  Today I received two more items that I ordered from GSI Outdoors and I thought I’d share my comments with all of you again.

The two items I ordered were the H20 Lite 1L water bottle and the Ultralight Salt & Pepper shaker.

The H20 Lite 1L water bottle is really neat!  Like the product title says, it holds 1 liter of water, the same amount an average military canteen holds except when it’s empty it compresses to be flatter than a pancake and takes absolutely no room at all in your bug out bag.  The water bottle is made of very strong material and when storing it in your pack you can keep it flat or roll it up, which ever you prefer.  When it’s full it expands and you can stand it up on a table or flat surface and it won’t fall over.

Here are the specs of the H2O Lite 1 L water bottle:

  • Holds: 1 Liter
  • Weight: 0.9 oz
  • Dimensions: 6.30″ x 1.20″ x 11.30″
  • Material: PE/PA/PET Laminate, Polypropylene
  • Includes: 1 L soft bottle, flip-top lid

The Ultralight Salt & Pepper shaker is really neat as well!  It’s perfect for camping and is very compact and it also has a filling screen that is stored in the bottom of the shaker. I actually keep it in one of the bowls that came with the Halulite Microdualist Cookset.  I like to keep all of my cooking / seasoning items together.

Here are the specs of the ultra-lite salt & pepper shaker:

  • Weight: .9 oz
  • Dimensions: 1.50″ x 1.50″ x 1.50″
  • Material: Co-polyester
  • Includes: Salt + Pepper Shaker, Filling Screen

All in all, these two items are a great addition to my bug out bag!
