The Preppers Playbook: A Book Review
The most common problem that many of us have is that we lack the proper knowledge on how to prepare for disasters, what to do when a disaster strikes and how to ride through tough and sometimes desperate times until help has arrived. We’ve seen this happen all too often time and time again. As natural disasters are on the rise and are likely to keep increasing in number and strength, the time to prepare is now… before another disaster happens! Don’t be another one of those people who sit back and say “I don’t need to worry because nothing will ever happen where I am”.
The Preppers Playbook is a very well written book that will get you on the right path to preparation and gives you all the tools and information necessary for you to start up and follow through with your own emergency plan. You will learn about the importance of prepping your family and pets, bugging in or out, how to put together a bug out bag, learn imperative wilderness skills such as making fires, shelters, collecting water, finding food, bartering, and putting together a first aid kit. I also like the fact that this book goes over a wide range of disaster scenarios such as hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, earthquakes, mudslides and many many more in great detail. The author goes over the first 72 hours, the first three weeks and long-term scenarios and there are numerous checklists throughout the book for you to use which I found to be very useful as I like simplicity.
This is one of those books that you need to get a copy of and I’d strongly suggest keeping it in your bug out bag as well. When disasters strike we tend to forget a lot of the things that we’ve learned or read and the last thing you need to be saying to yourself is “oh crap… what do I do now…”. Order your copy here today!
